What condition did you you come in for? What treatment options did you receive from conventional doctors and how did you feel about them?
On going support for Pernicious Anemia, Hypothyroidism, general allergies as prior Naturopathic Doctor moved out of Olympia area . Over the years for anemia traditional doctors did little just wanting me to take tagamet for digestion problems and eventually to send me to heart doctors due to increasing nerve damage on left side of body. With this treatment didn’t feel I’d make it to 40 years of age. Thyroid was all over the board and thyroid medication was being constantly adjusted prior to seeing Dr Griffith.
What were your symptoms and how did they affect your life?
MB: Thyroid was up/down resulting in either severe lack of energy, weight gain/loss, and focus along with troubling bouts of constipation or diarrhea. Taking care of work or family responsibilities very difficult. Prior to starting B12 injections for pernicious anemia with digestion problems and nerve damage resulting in constant feeling of exhaustion made me doubt would again make it to 40 years of age.
How did you find Dr. Griffith? What is your impression of his bedside manner, professionalism, and knowledge?
MB: Medical plan listing and referral by another local Dr’s office. Appreciate Dr Griffith professionalism and knowledge as he confirms and monitors with proper tests medical conditions not just saying ‘you have this’. Knowledge of updated treatment options and ongoing monitoring is excellent. Good listener and sense of humor which contributes to good bedside manner.
How has your experience benefitted you? What have been the impacts on your symptoms and life since receiving this treatment?
MB: very thorough. Stabilized thyroid levels and helped me to take charge of health by doing my part to strengthen my immune system and aging back. As a result, I’ve worked hard to be more proactive with taking charge of my health. Recently through dietary changes and exercise have lost 20 pounds of fat while building muscle. Friends comment how they’ve never seen me look so healthy. Now as approaching 50 years of age I’m anticipating many more years to come. Also treatment for allergies using J’s nose drops have made seasonal allergies a minor distraction and reoccurring infections a thing of the past. Much improved overall energy level.
Would you recommend Dr. Griffith to your friends and family?
MB: Most definitely and have brought my teenage son, who he has aided greatly with allergies and teenage years transition. My son appreciated his caring and concern. Avoiding foods he shows allergic response has improved his overall outlook and behavior
